The Brazil-Chamber of Commerce in Toronto in coordination with Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada and the Consulate General of Brazil in Toronto present a unique Breakfast Seminar presentation with an international delegation from the State of Pernambuco, Brazil, led by Mr. Eduardo Campos, Governor of Pernambuco, featuring the Suape Global Project.

The Suape port and industrial complex, located in the North-Eastern State of Pernambuco, has been in existence for 31 years and houses, today, over 90 companies active in various segments of the industry. Suape is considered to be Brazil's best public port. The Suape Industrial Complex is currently undergoing a multi-billion dollar transformation to become an international and first-class oil and gas, shipbuilding, petrochemical, and manufacturing hub, the Suape Global Complex, to serve and meet the demands of Brazil's booming oil & gas market.  

Three important anchor enterprises operating in Suape are Petrobras' Abreu e Lima refinery, Southern hemisphere's largest and most modern shipyard Atlantico Sul and a petrochemical complex.

The Suape Global Complex offers opportunities in:

·         oil and gas (upstream, midstream and downstream)

·         shipbuilding and offshore equipment and services (Drillind Rigs, FPSOs, Semi-Subs, Fixed Platforms, Supply Vessels , Super tankers , etc ...)
